My family has always had pets. As an adult I’ve had  3 adopted dogs, a Doberman mix, a Labrador mix, and a ShihTzu. I also have 5 cats, including 2 adopted Sphynxs.
Until 2017, I worked with special needs kids and their families. I felt I’d served my purpose as a Social Worker and began building my professional pet sitting business in 2016. Fur Star Pet Care, LLC is a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), Central Ohio Professional Pet Sitters (COPPS), and the German Village Business Society. Fur Star Pet Care, LLC is bonded and insured, with pet and house sitting insurance as well as boarding and daycare insurance. I have traveled quite a bit. I’ve lived in Mali, W Africa (1998-2002) and India (1993) and understand the value of having a reliable pet sitter that can customize services. With every visit we send photos, a written visit summary, and GPS check in/out so you can rest assured we are where we are supposed to be when we are supposed to be there. We do all of this through our scheduling software. You can always access your service records, your pet records, invoices, photos and communication there.

In addition to animals, I love gardening, traveling, and reading. I’m very responsible, organized, reliable, neat and clean. I will be happy to also collect your mail, water your plants, turn on and off lights, open and close blinds, and of course, keep your home as tidy as I find it.
